Before he could say a word, I cut him off by saying “Make it quick. I’m kinda busy” without throwing him a glance. He replied with “I just want to tell you there’s some macaroni salad in the pantry. It’s not that much but I hope it’s enough for you and *wife who works in the same office*” and walked away.

Today’s Christmas Eve. Santa will most likely visit me tonight to beat me to a pulp.
